JSPNews is operated by ADL Soft Codes. This policy describes data used by our website and connected app.
Accounts and contributions
Email sign-in stores your verified email, display name and reporting location to manage your account and contributions. Google sign-in may provide your name, email and account picture. Published posts, bylines, reporter profiles and comments are visible publicly. Do not include private information in contributions.
Cookies and operational monitoring
We use authentication and security cookies to keep you signed in and protect forms. We record page visits, recent activity, sign-in outcomes, likes, comments and loading/error metadata. Anonymous browsers use a random identifier; monitoring stores its hash rather than your IP address. Activity history is normally retained for 30 days. Activity monitoring does not record verification codes, passwords, typed input or comment text.
Service providers
Brevo delivers sign-in emails, Cloudinary stores/processes images and Firebase provides app notifications. JSPNews sends operational login, engagement and error alerts to its administrator through Telegram. Alerts can include display name, account ID, event type, post ID, page and timestamp, but not passwords or verification codes. We do not sell activity data.
Advertising and external sites
Local sponsored cards may link to advertisers' websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies. If Google advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve, measure and personalise advertisements, including based on visits to this and other sites. You can manage Google ad settings at My Ad Center. Where required, advertising must be subject to the applicable consent choices. Google-served advertising is currently disabled by default pending editorial readiness review.
Your choices
You can stop contributing, disable app notifications, clear browser cookies or request account/data deletion by emailing adlsoftcodes@gmail.com from your registered address. Public news may need editorial review before removal; legal or security records may need to be retained. Do not send an OTP or password with your request.
Children and sensitive information
Do not submit children's personal details, private phone numbers or sensitive documents in public posts. Contact us if a contribution exposes personal information so it can be reviewed.
